The Big Policy Canvas Knowledge Base is a state-of-the-art, online, dynamic repository, that gathers all the knowledge produced in the course of the project. It is structured along three dimensions: Needs, Trends and Assets.
In order to find out what assets, needs and trends have a big data potential, we followed a two-step approach. First, we identified big data relevant assets based on the BDV (Big Data Value) Reference Model.
The Big Policy Canvas Knowledge Base is a state-of-the-art, online, dynamic repository, intended to act as the placeholder for the knowledge to be produced during and beyond the Big Policy Canvas project, structured along three dimensions, Needs, Trends and Assets.
The Big Policy Canvas Needs and Trends Assessment Framework is essentially a methodology for mapping needs and trends to application domains, as well as for assessing the former in terms of their cost, importance, urgency and capability for innovation.
