Ms. Ourania Markaki holds a MSc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MBA in Techno-Economic Systems. She has more than nine years of experience in the preparation and implementation of research and development projects in the domains of Interoperability, e-Government, eParticipation, eBusiness, Manufacturing and Decision Support. She has worked on many EC and domestic co-funded projects including BigPolicyCanvas (Needs, Trends and ICT Tools for Advanced Data-Driven Public Sector), ChildRescue (Collective Awareness Platform for Missing Children Investigation and Rescue), Toylabs (Enabling an Open Innovation Model for EU Toy Industry SMEs through Co-Creation with FabLabs, Safety Experts and Customer Communities), SONNETS (SOcietal Needs aNalysis and Emerging Technologies in the public Sector), CloudTeams (Collaborative Software Development Framework based on Trusted, Secure Cloud-based Pool of Users), LinDa (Enabling Linked Data and Analytics for SMEs by Renovating Public Sector Information), Fortissimo (Factories of the Future Resources, Technology, Infrastructure and Services for Simulation and Modelling), Policy Compass, IMAGINE (Innovative End-to-End Management of Dynamic Manufacturing Networks), GIC (The Greek Interoperability Centre: Enabling Research in the Interoperability Domain), PLUG-IN (Plug-n’-Play Interoperability Services to SMEs), CAP (Community Airport Portal), IMPILO (Blockchain-based Global Social Network of Health Services), etc. She speaks fluently English, as well as German and Spanish.
