We appreciate your comment. Tools like BudgIT are indeed important in the active involvement as well as the empowerment of citizens since they provide a simplified access to public services, may it be of monetary or other nature. Furthermore the tool promotes accountability and thus helps to prevent corruption.

It is a very interesting tool and, in my opinion, it is generally very useful to actually see the allocation of the budget. Tools like this one should be used so that citizens stay informed and involved in the public sector processes.
